Every little girl dreams of one thing: her wedding. Whether it be the cozy, family-only episode, or the outrageously enormous wedding with every single stranger that has been introduced to you watching in the audience, while you're in a dress that costs more than the down payment you paid on the house. Your wedding dress should be the one thing in your closet that not only looks gorgeous, but fits you and makes you look like the princess you are. It's all about balance, whether you're bust heavy, have small or big hips, or some small fatal flaw that must be hidden, it can all be balanced out with the right dress. Check for tips on the Internet or in magazines to find out what will make you look your best. Unfortunately, no one is very good at judging themselves. The rings are the most important piece of jewelry you will ever buy, so be careful when choosing. The latest fad is to get rings tattooed on, which is ideal for factory workers, doctors or mechanics that can't wear rings at work. It's inexpensive, looks pretty, and is more final that real rings, which can be taken off. There's a downside too: touch-ups might be needed every few years because the tattoo may fade, and the process will probably hurt. And there's a reason it's more final: it'll be a dandy ole' crisis if you decide that a divorce is in order. And then there's the cake. For the price you're paying, it had better be the most delicious slice that you've ever eaten. The number one piece of advice given when it comes to your wedding cake, is to ask questions. Sample pieces (which is fun all on it's own!) from different bakeries, ask about ingredients, decorations, and time frame. It's your day, you get to decide everything with your partner, and it'll probably be the only time where your decision is final. So go ahead and take advantage of it. |
