Many times couples will choose to make the wedding favors due to budget or they make just like the idea of adding a personal touch to their favors. Handmade Favors:
A popular wedding favor that is easily made at home is a magnet. You can use wooden cutouts of hearts, doves or leaves, and use a stamp to imprint the names of the bride and groom along with the date. You could also use the sheets of magnetic backing with adhesive on the front. Simply print a picture of the bride and groom and attach it to the front of the magnet.

Handmade picture frames. These inexpensive frames can be bought from a dollar store and then painted with bells or hearts and with the couples name and date. You can include a picture of the couple and then the guest will always remember your big day.

A CD of songs from the wedding is a great idea. Most home computers now will burn CD's and some will even create personalized CD faces. These are very inexpensive as the CD's cost less than one dollar each and the songs can be downloaded for less than one dollar each and used for every CD. If your computer will allow you to inscribe the CD with a personal face, you can add a picture of the bride and groom.

Store Bought Favors:
Shot glasses are a great idea for a wedding favor. They can be ordered with the bride and grooms name on them. Some like to put a Hershey's kiss inside and wrap with some kind of cellophane or netting and tie with a pretty bow.

Personalized chocolates are a tasty idea. Chocolate bars can be ordered online that will display the couples picture and wedding date on the wrapper.

Caricatures are those funny drawing that you can have done at the fair or at an amusement park. One great idea for a wedding favor is to hire a caricature to come and draw your guests picture at the reception. Your guests will love this and will not likely forget it!
